Well, I didn't expect that Peter would remove the Observer tech so soon.
So much more that could be explored. :(
OTOH, it was right for him to remove it. He doesn't want to completely lose his emotions.
Hopefully, his brain won't revert back to 'normal' even though the tech was removed.
I like Peter having some of the same abilities as the Observers.

Looks like we can dismiss the idea of Peter evolving into September.

I loved this episode! I'm loving this season!

I was surprised Peter backed out. And yes they could have explored his time as an observer longer. Still a peeve of mine that they wasted so much of last season when they had great storylines like this to go deeper into. And last year was not much of a setup for this one. This is so good it could mostly stand on its own.

But they knew when they were making last year that it could be the final season. I think they did a fairly good job of setting up this season enough for it to fit, but not enough that people would be upset over not getting the story that was being set up if the show ended last year.

I'm happy they backed Peter out of the Observer tech this quickly, my big concern was that they would lean on it too much as a crutch to move the plot along.

This season is still a:up: from me.

I was wondering why Data, I mean Peter, didn't drop Windmark right by the fountain, instead of waiting to snap his neck. (Other than there being 5 more eps).

He coulda popped a cap in his ass and game over. Maybe not as satisfying, but still.

Why is killing Windmark the end of the Observers? It would be revenge for Etta, but I hardly think the Observers would just all pick up and leave.

A good solution to the problem is for Olivia to insert the tech and use it until it's time to take it out before the changes are permanent. Keep lateraling the ball to another member of the team!

I had the same thought, the way they pull themselves in even with the dead brain, I thought it should be very hard to pull out.

Anyone notice that there are no female observers?

I wonder why they all wear suits, white shirts and a hat. The tech can't make them do that.

Who are you to say what the tech can or cannot do?

It's super-advanced tech, beyond our comprehension. I see no reason why it can't control the way people dress.

The tech makes them as drab and uncool as possible. Wonder how Apple is doing in the Fridge future?

It was impossible for the tech to stop them from being emotional :p

Conclusive proof that the tech was made by IBM.

Thank you, Thank you. I'll be here all night. :D

It's weird that the Observers are dressed for the Mad Men era, definitely not from Peter's or Olivia's timeline.

Yes---I could see the whole suit thing back when they were just "observing". But now that they're in charge, they can wear whatever they want. Why should they bother with ties? They don't serve any purpose. That's not logical.

Suit and tie may convey a symbol of authority and order to some (same reason why NBA coaches have to wear them, in addition to inactive players). It actually makes sense for them to do it. It made less sense while they were just observing/meddling as they should have been more inconspicuous.

Every time I hear the title to this episode, "The Human Kind", I think of George Costanza's charity, "The Human Fund - Money for People".

Because spending more time and energy to update their wardrobe would be inefficient and they already had the suits? :D
There's also the economy of scale, they buy in bulk.
