I understood that she lost her parents in 2016 also. And that would have Olivia giving birth in 2012.

She didn't say that "I lost them when the Observers took over" which would be 2015, but "I haven't seen them since I was 4" no date given.

Count me as one who THOROUGHLY enjoyed this episode. They could spend the rest of the series here for all I care...

One little bit of attention to detail that I particularly liked:

The "these are not the droids" scene took place next to a food kiosk. There were observers buying food at the kiosk. The food wasn't shown (and the kiosk itself was hardly in the scene), but the awning of the kiosk had a decorative graphic of red chili peppers and the counter is lined with bottles of hot sauce/tobasco - referencing the observers' penchant for really spicy food first shown in Season One with September at the diner.

Yes, they pulled a switcharoo. They let us see Bell encased in amber and then the next time we see the future team trying to extract someone, we are led to believe it is Bell they are extracting, but of course it's Peter instead.
At the same time we see Bell in the amber, we see Walter with some sort of device. Those that had been paying attention earlier would have realized that it was a laser cutting apparatus. Later we find out that Walter used it to extract Bell's hand from the amber (presumably they will need it for future endeavors that involve biometric security).

I like this theory. In an earlier episode this season, September said that in every time line Olivia dies. The lack of Olivia means that she's probably dead in this possible time scenario. This theory also explains what the machine was they were asking Walter to build, why Bell was still alive, and why there was absolutely zero mention of the alternate universe.
Trying to explain this to others is going to be confusing and difficult, and what does any of this have to do with the current Jones plot. :(

The year was 2036, it was stated that the team disappeared 20 years ago which would have made it 2016. She said she hadn't seen her parents since she was 4 which would have made the year 2012 that she was born.

That was quite a surprise episode!! I don't know if this is a spinoff or something they plan for next season or will finish this season with it, but I like it!

If you assume the day the team disappeared was the last time she saw them. What if she was with them?

And if you assume that by "20 years" they mean "exactly 20 years, not 21 or 19" and not "a number I'm rounding off to 20 years."

I do like how they got around Nemoy's retirement :p

This was such a fun episode. The look on Peter's eyes as he realized who he was talking to; and the desperation on his daughter's face as she prayed that he would recognize her without her telling him who she was...that was just so splendidly done.

    What is Olivia-Junior's name?

    Henrietta, or Etta.

I reject "JOlivia" because she is not an alternate of Olivia. :p

Didn't get the connection to Henry when they said Henrietta. Then when someone pointed that out, I thought she had changed her name--probably for security reasons--because I was pretty sure that wasn't what they were calling her. But I guess she was going by Etta, so as usual I missed the whole point without you guys. Thanks.

(I did assume she was Peter and Olivia's kid the minute she turned up.) ;)

It took a fraction of a second to realize it wasn't Olivia. I'm not sure how subtle they were trying to be...
