Fox just announced its summer schedule, and there's quite a bit of shuffling:

    Monday
    8:00 - Raising Hope repeats
    8:30 - The Goodwin Games
    9:00 - New Girl repeats
9:30 - The Mindy Project repeats

    Tuesday
So You Think You Can Dance? (two-hour episodes; like last season, there will be only one episode per week)

    Wednesday
Masterchef (the first night is a 2-hour episode; after that, it might be a repeat of the previous week at 8:00 followed by a new episode at 9:00)

    Thursday
8:00 - Does Someone Have to Go? (you may have heard of this as "Someone's Gotta Go", which was a failed 2009 pilot; it's described as "The Office meets Survivor," where someone from a "struggling" company "could be" fired)
    9:00 - Hell's Kitchen (which started in mid-March)

    Friday
    8:00 - Bones repeats
    9:00 - The Following repeats

    Saturdays
    Major League Baseball
(Fox's new late night animation block starts July 27)

Sundays - the same as it is now, but all repeats

When Fox wants to move a show to a new day, it likes to do it in the summer, so this could be a signal that they want to move the comedies to Monday nights; we'll know more at upfronts in May.

That would be risky putting a comedy block on Monday against CBS's dominant comedy block. Especially since FOX seems to be doing pretty well with their comedy block on Tuesdays, or at least New Girl is beating the other comedies from the other networks airing in that hour.

Should we assume The Following is getting renewed?

"Bones" has already been renewed and a renewal for "The Following" is something of a foregone conclusion.

(I'm surprised, for some reason I thought this was Bones' final year by their own choice.. I only watched it long ago, it's one of the shows I'll catch up on some eon.)

then you're missing lots of great shows

American Dad and Bob's Burgers are 2 of the fumiest animated series ever

Masterchef is lots of fun to watch

Bones had some good seasons and still has a few good episodes

    New Girl has good episodes

    Fringe was good

why would you not watch ANYTHING on Fox ?
what logical reason could you possibly have for that ?

We also don't really pay attention to Fox anymore (nothing on it appeals to us). Only reason it shows up on our TV is wife and daughter still can't cut the cord on the oh so annoying AI.

Could it be that he doesn't like any of the shows you mentioned or anything else on Fox? We all have different tastes. For instance, outside of Fringe, I don't watch ANY of those shows you mentioned. But, I do watch Raising Hope and Family Guy on Fox.

I only watch two shows on Fox these days. A drama (Bones) and a comedy (The Following).

I may have to wait until the NFL before I see another show on FOX.
