The original "Amy's" episode is scheduled to air tonight on BBC America, and again on March 6.
It's not just this particular episode; Fox has delayed airing any Kitchen Nightmares episodes until "later this season" for some unexplained reason. Reruns of Bones will continue in the time slot, even after new episodes return on Monday nights starting 3/10.
Well you can still get your Ramsey kick soon as I saw a preview for Hell's Kitchen last night, looks like it will be back in early March.
Cool. Looking forward to it. I think I like HK better than his Nightmare shows. Those have gotten so tedious - always the same exact formula. Not that HK is that much different, but I find it more enjoyable.
What's the latest scoop?
A coworker brought up the Amy's Baking Company ep of Kitchen Nightmares (which I've seen and is a must see, IMHO) and I recalled this thread, disappointed only to be unsure what was the deal.
Some quick Googling returns some hits claiming that "ABC" canceled on them. Is that accurate?
Doubtful, as I don't think Fox would have announced the episode if it wasn't ready.
The latest rumor is, Samy is being deported because of some crimes he committed in Europe decades ago.
However, I wouldn't be surprised if it really is just a scheduling issue, and they want to air the episode during May Sweeps; they are airing the last two episodes of Raising Hope on April 4 (rather than one on 4/4 and one on 4/11), and TheFutonCritic (which is usually right about these things) lists that the last four episodes (at least for this season) of Enlisted will air back-to-back on 4/18 and 4/25.
Kitchen Nightmares begins April 11 with "Return to Amy's Baking Company;" it will start out at 9:00, but when Rake ends, it will move to 8:00 (with repeats of Gang Related airing at 9).
The press release announcing Fox's current show finales (and upcoming season premieres) doesn't mention Enlisted; I have a feeling last Friday's episode was its last.
"The issue of sexual harassment comes up involving a cast member, Amy Bouzaglo, in the reality TV show Kitchen Nightmares with Gordon Ramsay."
Amy speaks at 6:25.
I'm wondering if Amy and Samy's appearance on "Dr. Phil" will air at that time? Gotta keep an eye on that.
On the subject of Fox TV schedule changes - Does anybody know when American Dad is moving to TBS? Obviously cannot count on my SP to switch (that would be a nice feature, or at least to just go into the SP and change the channel ahead of time) so I would like to diary it for the change.
TBS wants to start airing new episodes before the end of the year, but that's all I know. (Fox will probably continue to run the show until football season begins, which is pretty much what it did with The Cleveland Show.) It may depend on when new episodes will be ready (and whether or not Fox will air all of the existing episodes, or leave a couple of holdovers for TBS); also, one of the show's show runners has announced that he is leaving the show.
Note that there will be only 15 episodes in the next production season. although it's not clear how many will be broadcast; I wouldn't be surprised if they air 13 and hold onto two of them for next season.
Thanks, Don! That was definitely more than I knew. I watch TBS a fair amount, so I imagine I'll catch some advertising. There will probably be more info out there closer to fall.
You could just create a first run only American Dad SP NOW on TBS, and you'll probably only have to cull out a couple every week that have a lack of guide data!! heh
Create an ARWL for American Dad and it won't matter what channel it's on.
D'oh! Thanks. What a dum bass that that has not occurred to me.
Woah... I just realized that Return to Amy's Baking Company is airing now. Luckily I hadn't deleted my SP (which is recording it now) and its priority was high enough.
Watching it now.
The remark about Tourette's syndrome was really uncalled for.
It was already clear that these people have no class, but that was a new low.
Total let down. Even the actual "Return" by the reporter was eh....
The whole episode had maybe 5 minutes of actual new content. And yeah, that wasn't any good.
