Are you talking about the North Hollywood shoot out? Videos of that event are widely available and several documentaries have been made about it.
I was testifying in court that morning and thus missed the actual shoot out, but I got to watch the LAPD's mobile battering ram turn someone's garage into splinters while looking for that third suspect which we now know never existed.
They weren't Russian either. One of them immigrated from Romania as a child but the other was American born.
Never, ever, ever heard Fox News ask a Republican a tough question. And Fox news is the definition of partisan propaganda.
You do have one thing right on the money, though. There isn't anyone interested in simply showing the news in an unbiased way anymore.
In all fairness, I think Fox is a joke when they lay the claim that they are fair and balanced, but I have seen Republican congressman and senators get asked tough questions before.
Just this week Paul Ryan got grilled by Chris Wallace on the tax plan he and Romney are trying to put forth. Ryan never gave a satisfactory answer, but Wallace pushed the issue more than I am used to seeing from Fox News.
Ok.. It's not like they were zoomed in on it or anything. I don't see what the big deal is. At least the idiot had the courtesy not to injure or kill other people before he killed himself.
Here in the DC area last week we had a murder suicide where the father killed his wife and two children before killing himself. Why not just kill yourself. Why did he need to kill the rest of his family? Some people are just crazy.
I've often said that the people who commit murder suicides are doing it in the wrong order.
It was terrific in a terrible over the top way,
Me neither. I was kinda hoping for Hannity.
He wasn't on the air when the story was breaking, so it couldn't have been him.
Ah, the tolerant people are out in force...
Then I imagined someone taking a gun out of a paper bag, say "it's alright" (or something like that), put the gun in his mouth and pull the trigger? Also imagined the blood spray on the curtain behind him? Keep in mind that this was way before there was an viable internet...no youtube! It wasn't aired live nationally, it was aired live locally...or maybe I just have a scary imagination....
you may have seen it on TV back then but you didn't see it live. Stations aired taped footage. The video that's online came from taped footage that aired on WPVI Action news.
The wiki page on him mentions that there were several stations that showed the tape of the incident, as well as how they differed in their handling of airing the footage - some showed it as is, others froze the video and let the audio play, etc.

Didn't know there was more to his statement until reading the Wiki.
Just trying my hand at being fair and balanced.
