The sad ending......... Spoilerized since it may make some people unhappy. Completely made up in my mind.
They end up in a new timeline.
    • Carter was never sheriff, nor has he ever been to Eureka because he and his daughter never drove through it (pilot episode). He's in a marriage to someone who isn't an intellectual snob, or alone still.
    • Allison is married to Stark, and Stark is still head of GD. They're living in Eureka with their daughter and her son.
    • Jack's daughter is doing hard time, as that seemed like her original path before coming to Eureka.
    • Jo is sheriff and with Taggart (I always found their relationship creepy, but what evas).
    • Fargo and Holly are together and happy in Eureka.
    • Zane is at GD, but more under house arrest, monitored by none other than Beverly, who reports to Senator Wen.
    • Henry is dead from the artifact, He died saving Kim from season 1.
    • Kim is with Parrish (Wesley Crusher).

Oh wait, that would be a horrible ending!!!!
Why did I kill Henry off? At the end of Season 1, four years in the future from that present Carter went back in time to save the world, but in the process wiped out that future. In that future he and Allison were happily married. Only Jack and Henry had memories of the now collapsed future timeline. Henry erased Carters memories (without Carter's permission), which seemed to be out of spite as Henry was angry that Carter had to sacrifice Kim to save the world. Ever since then I have never really trusted Henry and thought he couldn't be trusted, other than the fact everyone trusts him, and he and Jack are like best friends, even though he stole 4 years of happy memories from Jack.

Totally disagree. All I've seen is whiny nitpicking by "fans" of the show.

I think she's been very whiny this season, and I'm not much of a nitpicker on this show.

I do love the show, but I'm OK with it ending now. This season hasn't been all that great IMO. I guess the idea has about run its course. It had a good run.

She has been pretty whiny this season but no so much in the others. Unless of course it is something that has to do with Kevin. Funny, thinking about it, I don't see her as that overprotective of Jenna. I do love the scenes with Carter and Jenna. He is a great dad!

Wow, so I'm whiny, a nitpicker, and not a real fan of the show.

Thanks for pointing that out! I never would have realized.

My feelings exactly. Over the show's entire run, I've enjoyed it. This season has just simply been uneven and has trailed off. It did have a good run. It's now time for it to end.

I think I'm the target of that post, Rob....well, maybe we BOTH are :D

"Hi, my name is Rob, and I'm...a whiny, nitpicking 'fan.'"

If they would show her in a bikini each week, she could whine all she wanted.

I pretty much feel this way too. I came to Eureka late but really have enjoyed the first 4 seasons. I had never seen a 'live' season before this one. It's been interesting to have to wait for the next week.

I would love for them to have a couple more seasons, but more with the style and flair towards season one rather than this season.

Make that three I guess. Enough to start a club.

But really, she is whiny. Almost convincing me something was up after that head injury, but the series is almost over so I dont know.

There's more whining here about Allison whining than there has been of Allison whining.

Have any of you who claim Allison has been "whiney" ever been in a relationship? Allison is an angel compared to some people I've dated, and seen my friends date and be in relationships with.

IMO she's complained, but not undeservedly so. She's been kidnapped, been forced to live in a fake digital Eureka where she lost her man, then forced to live in a house with from her perception, the woman who "stole" her man, been thrown into other bodies, almost drowned, gotten married, had a nightmare honeymoon, her husband got smart and became an dickweed, and she has had to deal with her man being in mortal danger on a regular basis. More than enough reasons to get frustrated at times.

You calling her "Beverly" instead of "Allison" is not going to help her disposition any. :p
