    Madison,...
So my Tivo has an ad for the new Roamio where they says it's what "users have been craving for."
Ouch! Two grammatical errors in one!
Do they have high schoolers (with poor grades) writing their copy?

"Our newest DVR has more tuners, more recording space, built-in WiFi and built-in iOS streaming that TiVo lovers have been craving for."

Yes, that is a horribly constructed sentence.

Are you complaining about the use of "that" instead of "which" in addition to the misplaced (or perhaps totally unnecessary) preposition?

And you didn't mention the absence of the Oxford comma.

And also the extraneous "for" at the end?

I am embarrassed you spelled "embarrassing" incorrectly. Unless it was meant ironically.
When I use the phase "where nothing can go worng," and get a typo alert from someone, it's just a sign they are too young to have seen the movie poster for Westworld.

I applaud your efforts, but am afraid it's a lost cause. It's all I can do to correct my own teen's grammar, let alone worry about ads from TiVo.

Saw the title thought maybe bounty had been replaced by summers eve or something.

HA. This happens in ads all the time.

But, I also suggest you re-read your sentence. "they says"? :)

Poor grammar is not exclusive to high schoolers with poor grades.

I do, because it makes the language much more logical and understandable.

But it's all "conversational" marketing copy. They want it to attract the masses. This is very common with ad copy or text with print ads. No rules applied. Just say it in a clever way or the same incorrect way the masses say it.

That's not considered a grammatical error...

Quote from Oxford Dictionaries -- "There’s no necessity to ban prepositions from the end of sentences. Ending a sentence with a preposition is a perfectly natural part of the structure of modern English."

    So close,...
They be knowing lots... (couldn't resist)

The ad was effective, look at the free advertisement it generated in this forum. I wonder how many other forum's are relaying the ad.
