No, it is a mostly B list celebrities getting drunk and talking about an historical event with other B list celebrities acting it out.

Jack Black, Will Farrell and Don Cheadle were some in the original Funny or Die series. This has had the Wilson Brothers and some SNL people.

This sounds like the type of show I'll either love or hate with no gray area. I'll check it out and find out.

I love it - especially when the drunk people go "off story" and start saying random drunk things and they still have the actors act them out.

I saw Jake Johnson (Nick on New Girl) on one of the talk shows and he said that he is the inspiration for this show. He was drunk one night talking about some historical event and his friend thought it was hilarious so the next night the friend got him drunk again and filmed it, and the rest is Drunk History.

The one about Coke was good. The person had a dog and it would bark while they were telling the story. There was a person in the "history" that would bark when the dog did. It's the little things like that that make the show.

No, they're hammered. A couple have even yakked (off-camera).

My favorite parts are when the narrators kind of lose steam and start mumbling and the actors keep going with it.

Are the storytellers actually B-listers? I've only recognized like 1 or 2, and I'm usually good with that type of stuff. So I'm going with D and E-listers. :)

There's probably more historical content on this show than there is on the History Channel now.

The idea of the show is a lot funnier than the execution.

I watched a little of two episodes and didn't laugh. I'm sure there are some funny parts, but not enough to watch full/multiple episodes.

I like it - it's not as good as the web series was, but that's sort of expected.

Not sure. I don't keep up with the new crop of actors anymore but I think they are on TV shows. So, you could certainly be right. Not A-list was my point. :)

Completely agree. I loved the original web series and wanted more. At least this gives me something.
