Anybody else watching the Starz miniseries Dancing On Edge? It's the fictional story of a black jazz band in 1930s London starring Chiwetel Ejiofor. Jenna-Louise Coleman of Doctor Who has a minor part. Angel Coulby, who played Gwinevere on Arthur has a major part. John Goodman's in it too. I've just watched the first two episodes back to back and thought they were excellent.

I don't want to link to the show's site on starz.com because it has a major spoiler on the page.

Here's a link to the official trailer but I can't get it to run properly in Firefox or Chrome.

    Da boogie...
We started this weekend and I was going to start a thread. We are really liking it.

Supposedly the Lester Louie character is loosely based on Duke Ellington, who apparently had a relationship with the prince.

The one thing that I really like is the unpredictability of the storyline.

Also, my On Demand (Cablevision) had six episodes and only two have actually aired.

It seems like they were insinuating that one of the princes was hitting on Louis.

Was it really an unwritten "rule" that a prince got to bang whatever woman, married or not, that caught his fancy on a particular night?
