Creating recordings hangs for about 5 minutes...

    I am able to get search results after entering in keywords. I then find a movie and attempt to "record this program" by selecting "options". I am able to scroll through which occurence (channel and time) I want to record and then proceed to schedule the recording. After about 5 minutes of "Please Wait..." live TV displays and no recording is scheduled.

    I've read another thread where folks experienced slowness or being dumped to live TV, but that seemed to be related to some slow server or problem on TiVo's end back in January. Considering I am able to browse through the search results and even see the exact times of upcoming shows that I am not hitting the TiVo server anymore, but I could be wrong.

    I was able to create a wishlist for the movie "Flash of Genius" that has yet to hit any movie channels. That too took about 5 minutes for the wishlist to get created, but at least it did get created.

    Anyone else having this same problem?

    Haxx, I've been experiencing the exact same problem on both my TiVo HD units ever since the search beta came out. The beta search is slow, but when I schedule a recording, I get a Please Wait screen for several long minutes. Sometimes it successfully adds the recording to my Season Pass, other times, no dice.
