Still my favorite show, but I haven't loved the last couple of episodes. I liked the premise of a war documentary, and that part was well done, but I didn't like Troy and Abed fighting or how they made up. Hoping the writers have some better ideas for the rest of this season.

This is yet another weird episode that I didn't get, but I pretend to think it's funny so I don't feel uncool.

This was an awesomely wonderful episode. My favorite so far this season. I loved the fake the Ken Burns documentary style and the outfits were great.

I think it was one of the best episodes they've ever done. Ken Burns' Civil War Part Deux, plus the PBS style pledge break at the end.

Chevy looked like the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man. :D

It's funny... now I look at every line and scene of Chevy's through the prism of knowing that Dan Harmon hates him. It adds a lot of subtext.

I enjoyed the episode and the concept of the Ken-Burnsesque documentary, but that meant there really weren't a lot of things to laugh out loud at. That's fine with me, though.

Not laugh-out loud funny, but the concept (faux Ken Burns doc) and the execution were outstanding, and I really enjoyed it.

    I liked it.

Am I seeing patterns that aren't there, or did a lot of the panning stills of Annie start or end on her chest?

I know at least once it was clear they zoomed to her chest first.

You weren't imagining it. Either that or I was imagining it as well. :)

"I'm giving you an all tomato."

I also enjoyed Abed's comments about the naming of the First Blood/Rambo movies ("Rambo 3" should have been "First Blood 3: Rambo 2") because that always annoyed me too.

Yes, those were probably the two best "sitcom" style jokes. Otherwise, it was all about the concept.

They've been doing it all season. Don't tell me that they don't pander to the audience a bit.

And I support and applaud their pandering. :)

This was a funny episode, I actually laughed out loud a few times.

Still, spoofing Ken Burns is so, like, 15 years ago...

(I don't even remember what show did it, but one of the best was Brady Bunch themed, talking about putting tape/a rope/whatever across the bedroom to divide it into two.)
