'Cheap' until you add on £20 for postage  That makes the effective starting price £30

When will people realise there are couriers other than RM/Parcel Force. You can send a TiVo for £7.14

To be fair, to get a £7.14 courier you would have to wait in all day for collection.

To send it by Royal Mail, you lug it down the PO at your convenience.

So the choice is the seller's time or the buyer's cost.

Hmmm... I know which I'd use if I were selling on ebay.

No. The £7.14 courier will collect from a pre-arranged "safe place" - you don't need to be in. Nor lug the box anywhere.

Nor it is as simple as "it's the buyer's cost" - if you price your item out of the market due to the high postage charges then it's not the buyer's cost, and you too are losing out because you are not making a sale.

Yep cheap if you collect. He may let you arrange your own courier.

I have sold my last one to a nut job on ebay. He has missed two deliverys and it has come back to me.

I'm in a dispute now with him, despite refunding him. Nutter wants me to post on the promise he will pay if he is in to get it next time.
