I love getting new tech toys. The semi-ritual of opening the box. The new plastic smell... :D:p

Truck stopped at my house too with a pair of Moca adapters from TiVo. I picked up a really cheap $10 used Verizon FiOS router that I configured as Moca gateway instead of a traditional router but with it, I will have 5 ports of ethernet including an additional wireless AP on one end of a coax drop, with one actiontec gateway on my lan side all connected by coax! The other actiontec gateway is a spare since I'm considering getting a Roamio or need ethernet some were else in the house were I can't get cat5 run to.

Got it all configured this evening, I will put it I place tomorrow and see if works better than the wireless I currently have, very cool especially as the Verizon FiOS router was easy to setup and has advanced options that you usually don't see in home routers.

Had doubts about the Verizon FiOS router due to the cheap price but if you need to extend your home network over Moca and have multiple ethernet drops on the room end, it's a heck of lot cheaper than the dedicated Moca gateways with more than one ethernet port, I will keeping an eye out for more!

Those brown trucks are like a mini Christmas morning!
