So we knew this was inevitable, the prospect of the 4 coaches coming into the game as players. I am going to vote no when I get a chance. I kind of like the dynamic the way it is. But as Brittany figured out (and heck, if she can figure it out anyone can!) there's just not enough players to sustain a whole season, especially with one getting thrown out of the house ahead of time.

Any bets on the outcome of this vote? I'd be surprised if the vote is no. I fully expect the coaches to be players. And what an advantage they would have. First of all, they had a 2 week head start where they couldn't go home. Second as coaches they had the ability to learn the strengths and weaknesses of their players, without fear of eviction. And of course the obvious advantage of having played before, and in the case of two of them, winning and in the case of 2 of them, 3rd time around (and Boogie falls into both).

As for the episode. Ian outing JoJo's makeout session sealed her fate (or at least that's how they edited this). The old "showmance creates too strong an alliance" play. I'm glad Dan gets to stay another week.

Also loved Dr. Will's comments that if Janelle loses, she's a three time loser. I've always felt her game was always overrated and she's too easily played. Oh and her boobies are how heavy? Did she say 6 1/2 lbs each? Her back's got to be killing her.

So now the dilemma. Two weeks of Olympics so I don't know if I'm going to watch for two weeks. Do I read the threads here or save up the episodes and do a marathon after they are over?

I laughed when they announced it was a "vote".
Like they haven't already decided and it would make any difference what the vote will be?

The cynic in my thinks it will be rigged to have them come into the game. But really, I think the fans will vote for them to do it. I won't.

I hope the coaches do not come in because it isn't fair, but I think it was predetermined that they will. They have always had keyholes beside their names.

After seeing the confrontation between Joe and Willie again last night, I am convinced Joe didn't get head butted, only chest bumped and he is a weenie.

I agree with everyone, the coaches will be in the game at some point. I think it's unfair but it makes for good tv I guess.

    Janelle is nasty.

Willie did enough to get kicked out. Period. He's an idiot. And he just got arrested yesterday for DUI or something so that solidifies my opinion of him.

I'm somewhat torn on this vote so I'll just let it be up to America. I really like the coach's dynamic but the way Boogie is "winning" right now would make me rather he enter the game and get voted out sooner ;)

I did understand it that each coach may have the choice on whether to enter the game or not though. Or something like that. It didn't sound as easy as "If you vote yes, coaches will not exist anymore and they will just become players"

You don't HAVE to use FB or Twitter to sign up.
I used FB and set the preferences for who could see posts made by the app to "only me".

Julie didn't say anything about the coaches having a choice, nor does it say that on the website when you vote.

    The question is:
Emphasis mine, but that sounds like a choice to me if there would be an offer. Doesn't sound like we've got the full details on how it will work though.

If they are indeed given the choice, Dan and Brittany should choose to enter the game proper. Boogie and Jannelle would then be stupid not to remain coaches as it would give them a 50/50 shot at 100K.

    Vote up to ten times?

    Why make me work harder?

I am with Alfer. I think it is stupid to ask if I want to sign in with my Facebook or Twitter account as I have neither. I set up a CBS account to a bogus email i use for these kinds of things. CBS did not even bother to send me an activation email, they just let me vote after I "set up" the account.

I voted NO. Maybe we should start a movement to make this not happen. The produces will find some other way to make it happen, I am sure.

You start the movement, and I'm in. I didn't notice a tally for the vote. I'm sure that is intentional so that they can tweak the vote anyway they want. If this fails, I'd bet that one of the coaches competitions will give the winner the chance to get in the game.

I wonder how it would work if it was up to the coaches. Is this a 1-time offer? What if all the coaches said no, how would the producers extend the season long enough to hit the finale date?
