    Greets,

I now have a issue with the audio eventually going out of sync with the video after a few minutes on my TiVo premier box. It happens with both live and recorded standard definition feeds. I don't have digital cable or any cable cards in the TiVo box. It will eventually happen when I switch channels, unpause, or start watching a recording. The only temporary fix is press pause then play in quick succession to resync up the audio. Did a manual restart and no change. Also the SAP setting is off on both the TiVo and my tv. Nothing changed between now and before the update to 20.2.2.

Any other suggestions or am I stuck with this until/if they ever patch this?

I changed to PCM, but still get the audio sync issue after a few minutes.

Have you found a solution to this problem?

My TiVo Premiere XL also has recently developed this problem and I have to also push pause and then push play to get the video and audio to sync back up. Sometimes it doesn't last long before they are out of sync again. I'm hoping a software update will fix this problem.

Are you using HDMI cable? You might try the component connections.

Happenning to me too, since the upgrade.

    HDMI here too.

How can Tivo fix 1 problem, build 2 questionable features, and break 6

    Happens every time.

I've had the same problem since 20.2.2. Changing channels solves the problem for a few minutes but it always comes back. I'll try the pause/play fix next time (faster).

But would definitely see this fixed in an update. If they broke it, they can fix it (presumably)...

Still not fixed even after the latest update, least I'm not the only one affected. I use hdmi, but that would not have anything to do with the audio sync issues. I have an HDTV, but no external speakers or sound system, just using the tv speakers. So since the signal is getting desynced in the TiVo, it outputs it that way to the tv. Nothing has changed settings wise on the tv or TiVo for a while until I opted to get this beta update.

I have component also connected from a previous installation to my tv.

The audio sync problem occurs on component too.

So is this problem only with analog channels then? I've not had any problems (Elite is using stereo output through receiver, Premiere using HDMI to TV) but my whole channel lineup is all digital.

Not for me. It occurs on HD channels for sure. Not sure about others...

TiVo Premiere v20.2.2 currently connected via HDMI to a completely new Vizio LCD HDTV, and seeing the same audio/video sync issues. No cable card or tuning adapter is installed, yet. Before the new HDTV, was using S-VHS to an older CRT SDTV, and never experienced these annoying issues.

We've noticed an audio sync issue as well. Seems more noticeable on some channels than others. Is anyone else experiencing this also with Comcast?

How can that happen? There's no audio transmitted through component connections...only video. What's your audio connection?
