I'm liking it this season and very glad it's still on TNT. Are others watching or is this going to be the last season?

I am watching. Still loving it. Not sure if this is the last season. I hope not.

I think every season my thought has been that it'll be a miracle if it's renewed, yet TNT's been doing it. And the show's been consistently good, we always look forward to the new episodes. It's also one of those shows that has very few episodes per season (8 if I recall correctly), and before we know it, *poof* it's over.

I saw an interview with Regina King and from the way she talked about it, it doesn't look good for another season.

    ETA: Here is the interview.

That's a bummer, about it not likely to be renewed....

It's a great mix of action, humanity, reality, suspense and some good humor!
Would be sorry to see it go.

I really enjoy the show. I have always preferred the street cops to the detectives so it made me happy that they cut down on the detectives and detective stories. Generally, I do like the current detective storyline though. Because of this show, I have a different perception of Regina King (in a good way). I like her character.

What really gets me is how much Lydia (and her partner) run after suspects. You'd think that detectives wouldn't have to do that.

I've been watching from the beginning. It's a good show but hasn't gotten traction for some reason.

This show has evolved into a better show over time, that's not common. Would be sad to see it go!

just watched ep 1 last night. not happy with the one change but logistically understand why it must happen for story advancement.

definitely loved the scene under the bridge and if this isnt renewed, scenes like that should change someone's mind.

Loving it. Gerald McRaney seems to be guesting on every show on tv lately. It's a bit jarring to see him as the retired LAPD cop a few minutes after watching him as a lowlife on Justified. He's also been a recurring character on House of Cards, Mike and Molly and Longmire in the past year.

I love Southland, but I'm behind. I've only watched the first episode of this season.

I liked it better when they had the large ensemble cast in the first and second season. I miss some of those characters. But it is still great with interesting characters. A real intense show.
