I did a search and didn't see any mention of this.

Series three of An Idiot Abroad is now airing over in the UK and the first episode was released a few days ago. You can find it via "magical means."

I love this show and thought others might want to know it was back.

I believe Karl is now traveling with Warrick from Life's Too Short. They give the best of everything to Warrick and Karl gets the raw deal.

Wow, thanks so much for posting about this. I just watched last night and I was in tears I was laughing so much. Adding Warwick to the mix is great because he's basically Gervais and Merchant but on site.

From IMDB it looks like Friday Nov. 30th was the first episode. They will probably show these on the Science Channel (?) like they did for the other series. The UK rips are quite nice, they usually are for this show.

I see no benefit for adding the short fellow. I like when this show is about a naive guy clamoring his way through the world.

Watched this last night. Started slowly for us, but loved it by the end. Good stuff.

Karl seems especially miserable this year :)

It seems as if Karl does not like Warwick at all, but might just be for the benefit of the camera. Karl would trade Warwick for a fat ginger cat in a second! :D

I think the Warwick addition is a good one, adding a new antagonist dimension to the show.

PS> At the end of the show, I did hear it airs Fridays at 9pm (UK).

I don't think Warwick (who was hilariously self-deprecating in "Life's Too Short") thinks much of Karl's rather unevolved view or understanding of little people. Having him around to aggravate futher the already easily aggravated Karl Pilkington ought to make for more cringingly funny TV.

I have really thought the two previously series were great. Yeah, Gervais and Merchant are merciless to their "friend" Karl, but Karl's take on travelling the world is so wonderfully different than other, typical travel shows. Others show the highways and byways, Karl shares the potholes and deadends.

Remember that Warwick was playing a character in Life's Too Short.

I quite enjoyed this though nothing touches season 1, I didn't finish season 2 because it felt staged and unnatural, even Karl seems to be "acting" a lot now.

Warwick is there mostly to annoy Karl and add some spice to events. Worked quite well in this show.

    I missed Stephen Merchant.
