Heck, I color code by tuner to make sure things fit properly on each dvr. So I'd say you're not OCD enough .
Revolution but I am more worried about NBC messing it up.
I don't really care what is on each tuner... as long as there are no more than 2 per color in any slot, and there are roughly as many pinks as blues.
I do it to cover that two per slot thing. Obviously I have no idea what's on each tuner, but I know if I need more colors than I have, then I've got a problem .
Just like they did with Heroes, Journeyman, and that other odd show about those people left stranded in the fake town.
I don't trust that they can pull this one off either.
I do a similar grid, but use the colors to differentiate between my wife's shows, my shows, and our shows. Mainly to know how to prioritize the season passes and which to schedule in the den TV.
As for the upcoming shows, I'm interested in Revolution, Last Resort, and Go On. That might be it.
NBC messed up Journeyman? Or do you just mean by canceling it? I feel like Fox and NBC should work together on shows. At least when they end prematurely at the behest of Fox it will be fine with us because NBC will have ruined the show.
Call me a girl, but I'm interested in Emily Owens, MD. I generally like semi-quirky rom-com shows (that aren't the big soaps) and the lead has been awesome in her appearances on The Good Wife.
Mamie Gummer was also in that doctors in South America show that no one but me was watching apparently.
Speaking of that show, Caroline Dhavernas (from Wonderfalls) has a new series this year, too, Hannibal.
I think Hart of Dixie will be a good lead-in for Emily Owens, MD. It's another semi-quirky doctor show.
I'm only going to record Revolution from the new shows. Although I'd heard/read that Go On was quite good, I just don't have the time (was hoping to take a year off from DWTS then they brought my wife's favorite back).
Like others, I don't hold out much hope, not after Flash Forward, The Event, Persons Unknown, Terra Nova and others -- interesting concept, starts out with a bang, then you're not really sure what went wrong but something surely did. Big Networks don't seem to do well with SciFi, but that's my genre of choice, so we are compelled to watch it when it comes on.
P.S. NBC didn't ruin Journeyman. It was a great show that couldn't find its audience and it got pulled. Maybe NBC didn't promote it enough, or didn't find it a better spot -- but that had no effect on the show; just its longevity.
I think it was a victim of the writer's strike. The ratings were declining and then the strike happened. I am guessing they didn't feel like they could pick up enough of an audience again after an extended break.
Do No Harm sounds good.
