This is service by Cox - Orange County. Like to see if anyone else had had this issue before the tech shows up. I have a series III and just bought a new Roamio for a second device. Of course they both have cablecards & tuning adapters. After much hassle tyring to get the Roamio running, it turns out that only one tuning adapter at a time will function (connected to either unit) but when attaching a second one, the amber light just blinks continually. Also it seems that to have one of the TAs working, the other TA has to be completely disconnected (like from the cable), not just have the power off. I suspect when the tech comes tomorrow he'll say, like they always do, that the old cable inside the walls isn't good enough to carry a good enough signal to 2 tuning adapters. .....update..all of a sudden both TAs are working..... Only problem is one of them doesn't get channel 310 which in the past just takes a new pairing from cox. This time it didn't work so the tech is still coming out. I'd still like to hear if anyone else had these issues since problem usually don't go away.
